In film, sound is used to enhance emotion, action, insight among others in the different situations that carry on throughout the sequences from the beginning to the end of the film. These can be classified in the use of dialogue, Foley, sound effects (SFX) and music. Putting together of all these components is called sound design, for which is done with motive as driven by the particular story being told effectively and creatively. The “Grand Hand” video is aimed to achieving tension and suspense as the audience’s attention is fully based on sound effects, that is to say the effects are what is used as communication to engage the audience rather than the old fashion way of having a dialogue.
